About me ...

Since my earliest age, I have been captivated by all these little or big creatures that accompany us. Highly sensitive, I tried to capture with my pencil a glance, an emotion, sometimes the fleeting moment when a bumblebee landed on my hand. With my A-levels in hand, I entered the School of Modern Art (ESAM) and then the Fine Arts in Paris..

After a career full of twists and turns in numbers (because yes, you can be an artist and love numbers) and with my children requiring less attention, I decided to pick up the paintbrushes again.

Today I am fully dedicated to creating portraits, driven by a desire to make my works come alive.

My inspiration indeed returned to me when I settled in Belgium in 2020, the cradle of Flemish painting.

My painting is influenced by Jan van Eyck , Robert Campin , Jérôme Bosch , but also from the Caravagio, Albrecht Dürer, and may others.

When I create a peace of art, I focus on the gaze and expression of the animal. I want us to feel its personality through its portrait..

That is why I always like to have a few words about the character of my subjects of creation.

"This quest to capture the full expression of a gaze, to get as close as possible to that invisible something that a living being emanates, has accompanied me throughout my artistic journey."
